Recordist's notes
I’m with Maria Fisch in her small office full of books and papers helping her archiving some of her images from the Kavango on the computer. While doing so, I’m trying to squeeze as many stories as possible out of her; sometimes I’m successful… but Maria is a hard worker... Maria Fisch spent 20 years in the Kavango area, first as a doctor then as ethnographer. She published many books on the history, culture and languages of the area. http://allafrica.com/stories/201302151152.html the recordings are archived here: https://archive.org/details/RadioContinentalDrift_513
