Recordist's notes
The Purbeck peninsula in Dorset has a lot of Military firing ranges and army practice areas. I visit regularly and always find it disturbing and very incongruous when the roads are closed and live round firing is juxtaposed with the beauty and peace of one of the most beautiful parts of England. Mix Pre 6 Mk11, Sennheiser 416 and homemade cardioid pair.
