bamburgh ossuary ... dpa 4060s clipped to bag to zoom h5 ... the ossuary in is in the crypt of the church ... and sound and media display ... an ossuary is a chest ... box ... building ... well ... site ... as the final resting place of skeletal remains ... these were the remains of bodies buried in the dunes close to the castle ... some 1600 years ago ... they were removed and placed in the crypt ...
