Recordist's notes

Audio captured from the deck of a ski lodge. The recorder was placed on a wooden railing around a stairway, with the ski slope itself to the left. It's around lunchtime, so there's a lot of activity being captured from the outdoor seating area. Prominent sounds include melted snow dripping off the roof to the left, and the distinctive thud of people walking up the stairs and on the wooden deck with ski boots on. Sounds also emanate from the slope, but it's somewhat masked by the activity occurring in close vicinity to the recorder. [Sony ICD-PX470 w/ onboard mics, some processing applied in post]
