Recordist's notes
During low tide, crossing a "baïne" river. The "baïne" (said in french like baheen) is a geographical phenomenon unique to the Aquitaine coast of France. It takes the form of a small pool of water, parallel to the beach, directly connected to the sea. When the tide is receding, they cause a very strong current out to sea, the ground is quicksand. It's strongly dangerous. I crossed it because of residents said me I could because of the hour (very low tide), but I wouldn't do it alone.
