Recordist's notes
Recorded on a sound walk I led with 30 participants wearing wireless headphones. Part of an inspiration day for a new composition made by young composers and Manchester Camerata. We took this rhythmical recording back to Dove Cottage, put it into Ableton live, added some pitch effects and used it as a basis for an improvisation with the young musicians. It was the first day of work creating a new composition to celebrate the 250th anniversary of William Wordsworth's birth in April 2020. (SD MixPre10t + Aquarian Audio hydrophone)
