Recordist's notes

________________________ Church bells of the Alt-Rahlstedt church About 10 seconds before the bells started to ring, it started to rain. You can hear the raindrops in the leaves of the trees that stand there. Because it is a very old church, it only has 2 bells. But these sound more harmonious than many newer church bells. After about 5 minutes the ringing stops and if you listen carefully, you can hear the cantor playing the organ. The microphones were behind the church, about 10m from the tower. Recorded with the Olympus LS12 recorder with the triangle microphone that was on the floor. I cannot say how often the bells ring in total. Before services, definitely. More detailed information can be found on the Alt-Rahlstedt church website.
