Recordist's notes
We are sitting with Cont in his little office, stuffed with books, papers and all kinds of archival documents. Cont airs his frustration about an utter lack of archival documentation on Zimbabwe’s history since independence… Cont Mhlanga is a playwright and the founding director of Amakhosi Cultural Centre in Bulawayo. In the interview Cont also describes how Amakhosi Cultural Centre is and has been responding to the challenges of this environment with educational projects and theatre for the people.
