Recordist's notes

At the Hoscheid Klangwanderweg - sentier sonore. A Sound object by Alan Johnston entitled Choeur de la foret. The object looks a little like a wooden shrine. A very basic construction seated close to the small stream that crosses the valley. At the ceiling of the construction there are several strings attached which hold wooden paddels. Those peddals start to swing in the wind or as you move them by walking thru and as the clash together they make these sounds. more informations about the Hoscheid Klangwanderweg can be found here: http://www.klanglandschaften.lu/de/wanderweg.htm Projekt - Klangraum Our - topographic field recordings, sound art objects and social ambiences
