Recordist's notes
Recorded on: ZOOM H1 The street was named after Master Jan Hus (ca. 1371-1415), Czech reformer, professor and rector of the Charles University in Prague, burned at the stake in Constance. The address is located very close to the Šilingrovo náměstí tram stop, so you can often hear tram bells and traffic sounds. At the time of recording, repair work was taking place on the tramway. (The recording was created as part of a project for a diploma thesis on Brno's soundscape.)
