Recordist's notes
As one might guess from the title, this album is dedicated to the sounds of water in its various manifestations: melting glaciers and snow on the peaks, mountain rivers and brooks flowing between rocks under a veil of mists — all these recordings were made by the author in the vicinity of Mount Achishkho in the Caucasus, which considered to be one of the wettest places in Russia. Despite its proximity to Sochi, even in the summer glaciers and snow can be found here and clouds often resting on the mountain tops. According to the author, these records were created for people who live in the city noise; they give the opportunity to have a break from the chaos and hum of the modern life and get ready for sleep. All possible shades of the water voices on one album — everyday magic of nature, enchanting with its simplicity and variety. In addition album is complemented by booklet with photos. They were made during the expedition. credits released December 1, 2016 Field recordings by Rem Koral Photography & artwork by Rem Koral Liner notes & booklet by Tim Six
