Recordist's notes

Field recording captured at dawn in May 2026 in the “Tiempo de Caracol” garden, within the framework of the “Encontros no Jardim” residency program. The recording coincides with the International Dawn Chorus Day and takes place during a full moon phase. Recorded continuously from 05:15 to 07:15 using a Zoom H4 portable recorder. The microphone was positioned statically, with no movement or intervention during the session. The recording documents the transition from nocturnal to diurnal soundscapes, with the progressive emergence of bird activity and other environmental sounds. Periods of heavy rainfall occur intermittently and significantly impact the acoustic field. Total duration: 2 hours. This recording is part of the sound material developed for the video installation “Jardim Rem”, produced on-site and presented in the context of the group exhibition “Como el trébol decide ser verde”. Due to platform limitations, the original full-length recording (2 hours) could not be uploaded here; however, it can be accessed through the external link provided.
