Recordist's notes

The Magéry staircase is a very exhausting stairway descending into the deep mine. This stairway was used by russian prisoners during the World War II, under the german constraint. Russian prisoners, essentially women, were descending into the mine, in aim to work there. It was extremely difficult for them. This recording is when I climb the stairs.
