Recordist's notes
Saturday morning listening session: The bells ring from Germany’s largest Protestant church, built in 1905, standing on Museum Island bofer 10 AM. The entire area vibrates — you don’t just hear it, you can feel the waves in you body. The bells penetrate the space, merging history, architecture, politics, past, prensent, future, memory. While recording I moved around the yard in front of the Neues Museum to moderate the direct sound and reveberations. Recorded with Zoom H2 without external mic.
