Recordist's notes
Every Saturday from 12pm to 5pm a small number of dedicated volunteers of the Maritime Radio Historical Society kick open their doors for tours in an effort to preserve maritime radio, amongst a number of other things. MRHS is located at the old KPH Radio Station located in the Marconi RCA building. The recorded sounds are of morse code being sent out, received and converted to back to the english language on an old typewriter from the last remaining Morse code station on the West Coast. This was recorded with Zoom H4n hand recorder and two Rode NTG-2 (Super-Cardioid) microphones.
