Recordist's notes
Nosiku Dorothy Mundia was one of only very few young women who came to join our ZongweFM training and broadcasts; and she was the only one to stay long enough for us to achieve quite some work together… in this excerpt from our first recording together, she tells us about the sports programme she does with recordings from the very nearby local pitch… We recorded the interview in the IT class room next to the Zongwe FM studio after one of my first training sessions with Zongwe team in June 2018. The radio transmitter is housed in this room; that’s the white noise in the background. for Nosiku’s inputs about the daily lives of girls in Sinazongwe, find the first part of the interview in the archive here: https://archive.org/details/NosikoMundiaZongweFM
