Recordist's notes
Recorder : Sony PCM-D100 Original rec : 192.000 Hz / 24-bit Convert rec : 320 Kbps Microphones : Clippy EM172 Best sound : Use a headphone for most realistic sound. Made the recording out of window second floor, about 8 meter from the pavement. Outside in garden of neighbours was a party tent with an plastic material roof. Further on is the road about 30 meters after the house. I placed the tiny clippy EM172 stereo microphone on a distance of 40 centimeter apart, placed on a wardrobe hanger just outside the window. All start quiet but in the procress you can hear the rain, the sound of rain on the plastic roof of partytent, car passing by on wet pavement and of course the incoming thunder. Max recording level was -6Db.
