Recordist's notes
Normal background radiation levels are about 0.15. As we drove through the 'Red Forest', the area directly to the west of the reactor that blew up, our Geiger counter went past its pre-set warning level of 5.5. You can hear the car travelling quite fast. Our 'minder' didn't want to stop for photos. This audio has been extracted from a video camera. sent by john[at]tudorfarm.net.au at 24.09.2009 09:12
