Recordist's notes

Beacon Hill is located in the northern part of the Kowloon Tong, Shek Kip Mei and Tai Wo Ping and is 457m tall. The hill is located west of Lion Rock, southeast of Eagle's Nest and northeast of Crow's Nest. The secured facility is operated and maintained by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department. You can hear the sound of cicada in the rain. 筆架山位於九龍塘、石硤尾、大窩坪以北,高海拔457米。東面為獅子山,西北面為尖山,西南面則為鴉巢山。筆架山屬於獅子山郊野公園範圍,山頂設有民航處雷達站,負責協助機場指揮航空交通。在此錄音可以聽到下雨時的蟬鳴。
