Recordist's notes
We got to the site with a lovely half moon before the chorus had started. There were some Tawny Owls calling, the odd Pheasant, and then the first Robins heralded the beginning. There are Blackbirds, Song Thrushes, Pheasants, Wrens, Chiff-Chaffs, Wood Pigeons, Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Whitethroats, Hedge Sparrows, a Muntjack Deer barking, Great Tits, Carrion Crows, a car arriving, two people talking and laughing, and of course several aircraft. Recorded on a Sony M10 with a spaced pair of Primo EM 172 mic capsules.
