Recordist's notes

People come from all over to visit the great Imam mosque of Isfahan, one of the great works of Persian Islamic architecture. We visit the prayer hall, under the main dome. While a boy with squeaky shoes walks past, visitors test the acoustics by stomping, clapping, and whistling. One man tests his voice by placing himself directly in the center of the domed space and singing. ( nula.cc )
