Das Glockenspiel am Karlsruher Marktplatz/Rathaus ist mit 42 Bronzeglocken bestückt. Die größte Glocke wiegt 600 Kilogramm, die kleinste Glocke 17 Kilogramm. Es erklingen immer unterschiedliche Melodien - zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme wird "Wenn alle Brünnlein fließen" abgespielt. Die Aufnahme fand statt im Zusammenhang der umfangreichen Field-Recordings im Raum Karlsruhe für die Sound- und Lichtinstallation "meteo flux - Eine Symphonie der Atmosphäre" die im Rahmen von media art is here 2026 gezeigt wird.
