It emerged during the early-2010s through the SoundCloud rap scene, and fuses trap music-style beats with sing-rapping vocals. Originally pioneered by artists such as Black Kray's Goth Money Records, Bones and GothBoiClique members Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, Lil Tracy and Lil Peep.
