From Wikipedia
The minipiano is a very small upright piano patented by the Brasted brothers in 1934 under the name of their company Eavestaff Ltd. There are factors that make the design of the minipiano different to other forms of piano, including the tuning pins which extend from the front to the back of the instrument.
