The microphones are on a window ledge upstairs. The night is very hot. No rain for days. Sleepers can be heard. Sheep, airplanes, distant traffic and other incidental sounds are present. MixPre 6 II with 2 Sennheiser MKH 8020s resting on the window sill directed across the wide shallow Severn Valley.
