Recordist's notes
This recording is a soundwalk around the Ridgewood, Queens neighbourhood during the celebration of the 4th of July 2017. Lots of families gathered in the streets having barbecues and throwing fireworks. In each corner of the neighboorhood hundreds of small fireworks were bursting just above our heads. Ridgewood sounded like a war zone if it were not for the laughing and enthusiasm of everyone celebrating. Recorded with Zoom H6 Carlo Patrão
