Recordist's notes
XY recording of a babbling streamlet at Asokore Dabiasem wetland in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Field recordist: WISEA member and mentee, Esther Ocloo. Mentoring by WISEA project leader, Abigail Baffoe. Monitoring, Editing, and Mastering by Samuel Kudjodzi, CSEM and WISEA founder, Germany. @csem_offcial, @wisea_official. Asokore Dabiasem is an addition to areas in and around Koforidua where wetlands have been significantly fragmented by building and construction activities. We are gathering these acoustic data to build sound installations and carry out listening sessions on fragile ecosystems to educate, sensitise and inform policies on them. This project is supported by Earth.fm and Sound Service GmbH with field recording equipment set. We also express sincere thanks to all organisations and individuals coming on board to help develop talents in Soundscape Ecology on the African continent.
