Recordist's notes
In a beech forest, near a small and beautiful lake. Let's hang a pair of mic and a cheap recorder to a three, slightly off-path to avoid "human interference". Distant noise of farms vehicles, some rare dog call, wind and unknown animals. And the ubiquitous planes… Sometimes it rains, sometimes a small crowd passes shouting to hear echo. Technical notes: Mics: Clippy EM272 (XLR), matched pairs into a Tascam DR100MKII. Unfortunately I forgot the furry windscreens… No editing, apart from cutting. I've suspended them at about 2 meters on a big beech tree, with the mics on the opposite sides of the trunk. https://audio.fabfur.it/posts/fagus/
