Recordist's notes
Water from ditch drains into canal pipe, which ensures eco-connectivity between habitats. Distant drone of the nearby Autobahn The Moorlinse pond is drained by the zigzag ditch (Zick-Zack-Graben) after snowmelt or heavy rainfall to such an extent that the road next to it is no longer flooded. In 2009, a sill was completed at the beginning of the ditch so that, on the other hand, complete drainage of the Moorlinse can no longer occur. The ditch itself, as part of the former Rieselfelder drainage system, first runs off the Moorlinse to the southwest and, after its namesake zigzag course, flows into the "Graben 1 Buch", which in turn flows into the Lietzengraben.
