Birds at the corner

A corner house on this street has several cages of exotic birds on a patio next to it. Their chirping can be heard all along the street. A man leaves the property slamming a metal gate. He walks over to his car, parked next to me. He packs up some things, then greets someone and fires up the old car. On the street, the silence of a Sunday morning and the singing of caged birds falls again. (roland r-07)
