Frank Kojay's "The Derwent Vale" is a hand written book and collage work bequested to Gateshead Library Archive with explicit instructions that it never be reprinted - to see the book you have to visit the archive. This project takes inspiration from the places described and illustrated in the book and seeks to map these out using the following methods: revisiting and making audio field recordings, photographs and images using eye tracking technology at these locations along the River Derwent.
