Recordist's notes

Recorded on the Queen Mary 2's Boat Deck facing the Statue of Liberty. It is the Friday of Memorial Day's long weekend. The considerable air activity around Manhattan sometimes comes close to the ship. Some crew members work maintaining the ship's tenders above my position. The background low frequencies are the ship's engines which never seem to stop.
