At the northern edge of the Djemaa el Fna in the maze of boutiques with leather sandals, cloths, crockery and argan oil there is in a small backyard, quite surprisingly, a chicken market that does not fit into the other tourist traffic. Dust from chicken feathers takes one's breath away.
