Recordist's notes
Sunday market at Porta Portese is basically divided into two sections that strech along two diverging streets. On the first, on Via Portuense, mainly new non-cotton clothes and other plastic products of ecologically doubtful origin are on offer. On the second, on Via degli Orti di Trastevere, there are wooden frames with and without faded photographs, rusty candelabres, and vestimentary leftovers of by-gone eras to be found. The recording was made on the first.
