Recordist's notes

A social-media inspired event designed to encourage those working to support the elderly or ill during the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. Someone suggested that, at 8.00pm on 27th March, everyone should show their appreciation by cheering or clapping from their windows. The suggestion went viral online, and this was the result. This was recorded from a back garden and I think most people were cheering from their front windows, so the sound isn’t as clear as it should be. Recorded on a Zoom H1n.
