Recordist's notes

On the Vegetable-Market Square and gradually walking on the Chanoine-Descamps square. The bars are crowded. They welcome a student population who is already drunk. Many tables are overloaded with the meter, a term we use to describe a meter of beer glasses in a rack. Many students practice the "affond", it's a student tradition which consists of drinking a complete beer as quickly as possible. Then, the glass bottle is shattered on the ground or the plastic crushed with the foot. The atmosphere is crazy and festive, it screams everywhere.
