Recordist's notes
deermit and chinqi head off from home on a short walk to the railroad tracks, knowing that the westbound amtrak train is on schedule to pass us soon, and that the eastbound train is a bit behind schedule so it should pass us soon after that. two men from the road work crew are talking about the temporary toilets at the job site, we're about halfway then... soon we dip off the road and through the trees, out into the hot summer sun, across the tracks and find a nice shady spot under a big ponderosa to hang out for a bit...
