In earlier decades, the "Dirostahl" steel forge shop shook the entire district and could be heard for miles. The hammers, unless replaced by presses, have since been significantly dampened. The nearby highway is now often louder than the noise from the factory. (Binaural recording with DPA 4560 on Zoom F3)
