Recordist's notes

The waggons and orchestras are supposed to dissolve in this narrow street and end their traditional carnival procession. But they just don't. The Bavarian samba band insists on playing on, a foghorn honks and finally gives way to the distorted bass from loudspeakers. Acoustically, the medieval street works like an intimate boombox.
