Recordist's notes
My wife recorded this on an Iphone 4s while working at her vet clinic. The sounds are that of an English Bulldog immediately after waking from a surgery performed to at least partially relieve a condition common to these dogs that constricts their airways. He was scared, on morphine and just had a breathing tube removed from his throat. The surgery was a success, although he will likely sound freakishly awful at all times for his entire life, as most bulldogs do.
