Recordist's notes
Children at an Easter school holiday club sit in a circle under a shady tree in a school field. Each draw a Sound Map to interpret the sounds they can hear around them. They also chat about the musical instruments they made before the Sound Map exercise - kazoos and cup string telephones! Recorded at an Easter holiday 'Sounds in Nature' workshop run by Gabrielle Fry, teaching children how to use recording equipment to appreciate sounds in familiar surroundings. Recorded on a Zoom H4N. Check out their Sound Maps here - http://www.facebook.com/soundworkshops/
