Recordist's notes

I placed my recorder on the edge of the pond, facing the Island, and sat far enough away from it that the birds wouldn't be discouraged by my presence. The reverb is lovely on this side of the pond. There's some nice Moorhen and Egret sounds. A group of ducks had a spectacular fight. Two drakes hung around right next to the recorder afterwards and I was holding my breath hoping they wouldn't knock it in to the pond (which to my relief they didn't). Recorded with a Roland R-07.
