Recordist's notes

erratic boulder field at useless bay, wind 48 km/h, ZOOM F1, XYH-6 cap under hood Inútil Bay (Spanish: Bahía Inútil) or Useless Bay - The bay was thus named in 1827 by Captain Phillip Parker King, because it afforded "neither anchorage nor shelter, nor any other advantage for the navigator" Erratic boulder trains (EBTs) are glacial geomorphological results and reveal former ice flow trajectories.
