Recordist's notes
An escalator from street level to the elevated tramway squeaks and groans late at night. It continually moves regardless if anyone is present. Its beautiful song easily overlooked by commuters. I captured this recording late at night to avoid the interference of passing cars, attempting to capture purely the escalator's song.
