Recordist's notes

In the observation floor there is a total disconnect between what is seen and what is heard. All ones attention is on the panorama of Berlin outside, but thick layers of glass mean that all you hear is from inside. Bland music plays from the bar, wine glasses sometimes chink, visitors murmur in low voices pointing at the city, clothing swishes. The atmosphere is rather subdued. Everyone is concentrating on the spectacular view.
