Recordist's notes
Despite the Google image this village no longer exists. All that remains are small mounds of yellow earth waiting to be eaten up as part of the huge Garzweiler opencast brown coal mine. These are my footsteps walking over the dead village as far as the current mine precipice followed by the sounds from below.
