Recordist's notes
From the top of a hill, in front of a lighthouse at the western point of Tommy Thompson Park. Zoom H4n with standard foam wind cover. Somehow, the seemingly ubiquitous mobile phone signal inserts itself at the beginning, but not intrusively enough to warrant removal; just one of those things we have to live with these days. Approaching from the right is a pleasure cruiser leaving a harbour area, which overlaps with a somewhat louder speedboat approaching the harbour from the left. There is an interesting interaction of the two sounds for a couple of minutes until they gradually drift apart. Near the end, an unidentified bird (sounds like a corvid of some sort) makes an appearance.
