Recordist's notes

walking around tall grass and bushes with a high frequency detector set to about 31kHz. Picking up the sound of feet going through the grass, grasshoppers chirping, some high notes of bird calls get registered too. recorded by placing the sony d50 mics close to the internal speaker of the high freq detector. so it's a mix of high frequencies and some of the ambience of the yard that the mics picked up anyway.
