This is the sound of the waves from the wake of a passing freighter as they reach the shore of the Hudson River at Plum Point Kowawese Unique Area, New Windsor New York, USA. I recorded this for an art installation which included "The Quieter Sounds of the Mid Hudson Valley" Tascam DR-07
