Recordist's notes
There was a dry spell of weather this morning, so I decided to make the most of it and go out recording. The location was a estuary, and the tide was on the way in (high tide around 3pm). After walking around and making a few recordings, I came across a inlet into what is called "Carnsew Pool", as the tide was coming in the water was rushing past me, swirling and bubbling (kind of), the current looked extremely strong. The location has changed since google did the satellite shots, above my location is a inlet that leads to the other body of water. The weather was cloudy, dry with a slight breeze. Slight post-processing - Used EQ to remove traffic hum. Microphones - 2 x DPA4060 Recorder - Tascam DR100
